Why packaging matters more than you think
Packaging determines how the wire behaves when it arrives at your plant. It affects unwinding speed, feed reliability, protection during freight and container loading. Wrong packaging causes line stops even when the wire itself is perfect.
Discuss packaging with the same rigour as chemistry and tensile.
Basket packaging: cost-effective for construction and general use
Basket coils (Turkish: ‘sepet’) are the most economical packaging format. Typical weight 500–2,000 kg. They stack well in containers and unwind from a floor-mounted turntable.
Best for construction wire, mesh wire and general fabrication. Not ideal for high-speed feeding or precision forming.
Bobbin coils: for fastener and precision forming lines
Bobbin-wound coils feed cleanly into fastener headers and precision forming lines. Weight typically 100–800 kg per bobbin depending on wire diameter. Bobbins protect wire ends during transit and support consistent feed speed.

Rozet and spool winding
Rozet coils (also called carton-lined coils) are tightly wound and paper-separated to protect surface finish. Ideal for coated or plated wire where surface matters. Spool winding is used for very fine wire and for wire that will feed into high-speed automated lines.

Cut-to-length packaging
Cut-to-length wire ships in pallet bundles, wooden crates or plastic crates. Bundle strapping should be secure enough for multi-stop handling but not so tight it damages end surfaces. Confirm packaging weight, palletisation and container fit — seeour gallery for typical packaging formats.

Do you supply EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificates by default?
Yes. Every export shipment travels with an EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificate showing chemistry, tensile properties and dimensional data for the actual heat. This is our default, not a paid add-on.
What are your typical lead times for EU and US buyers?
Standard grades ship 2–4 weeks from PO confirmation. Add 5–10 days sea freight to European destinations and 20–25 days to US East Coast under normal conditions. Custom grades or specialty packaging may extend production time.
Can you handle small trial orders before volume commitment?
Yes. We support new customers with sample lots and small trial orders — typically 1–5 tonnes — before ramping to volume. Contact our quote desk to arrange a sample.
What documentation do you provide for EU and US customs clearance?
For EU shipments we provide A.TR movement certificate to support duty-free entry under the EU-Turkey Customs Union. For US shipments we provide certificate of origin and any HS-code-specific documentation required. Discuss requirements with our export desk.
