TS EN 10218 covers general requirements for steel wire — low-carbon and higher-carbon grades. It sets tolerances on diameter, tensile, surface, and packaging that we use as the reference for most of our production.
In 2015 we treat 10218 as the default unless the customer specifies something tighter. Many buyers do, and we accommodate that.
